Pelagia

Pelagia began as a personal exploration at the intersection of travel, memory, and AI-driven creativity. After studying AI-assisted design through Designlab and experimenting with ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Weavy AI, I set out to build a jewelry brand from the ground up, inspired by the sun-drenched landscapes of Milos, Greece. Pelagia encompasses naming, visual identity, a three-piece collection, and an editorial campaign, serving as both a creative outlet and a proof of concept for an AI-supported workflow. The project reflects my ability to shape a coherent brand world while leveraging emerging tools with intention.

The Brand

Named after the ancient Greek word for sea, Pelagia is shaped by elemental craft, modern heirlooms, and quiet confidence. These values guide the brand’s typography, color, and texture, creating a refined and natural visual language. A serif wordmark introduces subtle oceanic motion, supported by DM Sans for secondary communication and a palette drawn from the Aegean landscape.

The Collection

Volume 1 introduces three foundational pieces, designed to be worn daily and collected over time.

The Campaign

The campaign for Volume I brings Pelagia to life through quiet, tactile imagery that highlights form, texture, and how each piece is worn.
